DISCOVERY CALL / IN-HOME CONSULTATION
During this 30-minute phone call, we will determine the project's scope of work and explain our design process. Schedule a Discovery Call with our team to get the ball rolling with your project. We will help you navigate best next steps in your space.
After your Discovery Call with us, we typically recommend a Design Consultation so that we can schedule a time to get out to your space and lay eyes on the project. Our team will take measurements and photograph the space. This is also when we will go through the client's inspiration photos and establish the goals for the project. A projected timeline and preliminary budget are determined.
PHASE 1: CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
In the Concept Phase, we map out everything needed to bring the vision for your home to life! Our team creates a customized space plan, including dimensions of furnishing items that are scaled perfectly for you home and ideal placement of those items. We will also present mood/concept boards that illustrate the "feel" we're going for in your space. This phase culminates with a meeting with the client to confirm we're on track.
PHASE 2: FINAL DESIGN
This is when we pinpoint the exact details – specific furnishings, fabrics, finishes, lighting and plumbing fixtures, etc. We go beyond the concepts determined in the Conceptual Design Phase by ensuring all specific selections are ideally suited for you and your spaces. We design down to every last detail. This phase culminates with a Final Design Plan Presentation. This presentation includes 3-D rendering to help the client visualize each item in their space. Pricing on all specific items are totaled and finalized.
PHASE 3: CONSTRUCTION PERIOD (if applicable)
This phase includes site visits to monitor design intent and process, purchasing of materials, and coordination with the trades (if part of the scope).
PHASE 4: PROCUREMENT & IMPLEMENTATION
During the time of procurement, we review the budget and submit requests for official quotes from our vendors for every item we’ve spec’d for your project. Once we’ve officially nailed down your item’s price, we develop detailed proposals, which outline all charges pertaining to the items, and then place the orders. This phase is then followed up with the Implementation Phase, where your vision starts to physically come to life. This includes accessory sourcing, installation day, and staging the space.
